Willow Workshops

Willow weaving is an ancient traditional craft practised across the world. Learn to make easy willow garden structures and sculptures. You can be as creative as you like with willow once you have mastered the basic principles.

I am now running one to one classes at my home. After a one day workshop you will be able to make and take home one of the following: A sculpture for your home or garden, two or more plant supports or trellis structures, bird feeders and simple insect sculptures. Or maybe you would like to make a simple basket or trug.

At Christmas you can make a wide variety of decorations or sculptures, see the Christmas gallery for ideas.

I can deliver workshops to groups of up to 10, at venues such as W.I. craft groups, schools or private parties.

I will be running 1-2-1 workshops for and up to 3 people at my home in Crow’s Nest.  The cost of £70 per person includes my tuition, willow, use of my tools and light refreshments throughout the day. The day runs from 10.00am till 4.00pm. If you are interested, email or Facebook me to find out available dates.

Prices:

One to one all day session £70.00

Half day group of ten £200.00

Whole day group of ten 300.00

Whole day sculpture group of seven £300.00

Some testimonials here from my Facebook page:

“Fantastic one to one workshop, very happy with my bird feeders, dragonflies and snails, all looking great in the garden. Thank you.

“I had a fantastic day at your Bodmin workshop . Many thanks tor bringing so much willow for us to use and for your patience and keeping us going with cups of tea/coffee. I came away with lots of goodies for the garden. The bird feeders are now full of fat balls and waiting for the birds in the morning. I hope the woodpecker likes his new feeder !!”
